Simplified Divorce in EZ Florida Divorce
Fast EZ Florida Divorce’s extra simplified divorce process at the coast
EZ Florida Divorce does offer a Simplified Divorce, but it requires both spouses to attend court twice. Here are the requirements for a Simplified Divorce:
- You and your spouse agree that the marriage cannot be saved.
- You have no minor or dependent children together, the wife has no minor or dependent children born during the marriage, and the wife is not pregnant.
- You both agree on how to divide your assets and liabilities.
- Neither of you is seeking alimony.
- You are willing to waive your right to trial and appeal.
- Both of you are willing to sign the petition at the clerk’s office (not necessarily together).
- Both of you are willing to attend the final hearing at the same time.
The Simplified Divorce was designed to speed up the process for certain couples, but it doesn’t always work that way. Both spouses need to go to court twice, and not all counties can process these divorces quickly, sometimes taking over two months.
