In EZ Florida Divorce, divorcing parents with minor children are required by law to complete a Parent Education and Family Stabilization Course. Course Approval
- The course must be approved by EZ Florida Divorce’s Department of Children and Families.
- It can be taken online, but only from approved providers.
Certificate of Completion:
- Each parent must submit a Certificate of Completion to the court.
- The judge cannot finalize the divorce without this certificate from an approved course.
Timing:
- In an agreed divorce, parents have 45 days to complete the course.
- It is advisable to complete the course as soon as possible, ideally when filing the case with the court.
Course Providers:
- The course provided by Our Parenting Class is approved by EZ Florida Divorce’s Department of Children and Families and is accepted by all District Courts in EZ Florida Divorce.
